Ravi Teja-starrer Irumudi continued its strong run at the box office on Saturday. The film has crossed the Rs 47 crore mark worldwide within two days of its release.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Irumudi earned Rs 16.10 crore from India on Day 2. Its total India net collection now stands at Rs 31.40 crore, while the India gross collection has reached Rs 36.45 crore.
The film’s collections are largely coming from its Telugu version. It has earned Rs 31.34 crore from Telugu screenings, while the Tamil version has contributed around Rs 6 lakh so far.
Irumudi also saw a strong response from audiences on its second day. The film recorded an overall occupancy of 78.54% for its Telugu shows. The film made more than Rs 16 crore on its second day alone. The occupancy was 63% during the morning shows. It increased to 80% in the afternoon.
The occupancy during evening shows stood at 82.85%, while night shows recorded the highest occupancy of the day at 88.31%.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were the biggest contributors. These two states together earned Rs 15.75 crore for the film on Day 2. Karnataka was the second-biggest contributor. The film earned Rs 2 crore from the state. The film’s Day 2 performance has helped it move closer to the Rs 50 crore worldwide milestone.
Tamil Nadu contributed Rs 43 lakh, while the rest of India added Rs 50 lakh. Kerala contributed around Rs 2 lakh.

Helmed by Shiva Nirvana and backed by Mythri Movie Makers and T-Series Films, the film’s cast includes Priya Bhavani Shankar, Baby Nakshathra, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh and Swasika Vijay. In addition, Ramesh Indira, Rajkumar Kasireddy, Kishore Kumar Polimera, Meesala Lakshman, Ramana Bhargav and Karthik Adusumilli also play pivotal roles.
Irumudi is a Telugu drama with a runtime of 2 hours and 32 minutes. The film released in theatres on August 21 in Telugu and Tamil.
