Opting to bowl, Sri Lanka pacers Nuwan Thushara and Dushmantha Chameera breathed fire at the start, bowling successive wicket maidens as both Bangladesh openers departed for ducks. It was only the second time in T20I history that a team bowled two wicket maidens to start an innings.
