India vs England LIVE Updates, 5th Test Day 2: England have taken the lead over India in the third session on Day 2 of the fifth Test at The Oval, but the visitors need only two wickets to bowl out the hosts. England have reached 235/8 after 47 overs, leading India by 11 runs, with Harry Brook and Josh Tongue at the crease. India pacers Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Akash Deep brought their nation back into the contest after some inspired bowling in the second session. England had gotten off to a flying start after an explosive 92-run opening partnership between Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett. However, the second session went India’s way, as Siraj and Prasidh took three wickets each. There has also been plenty of on-field tension, with Joe Root and Prasidh involved in a verbal spat and Akash Deep giving Duckett a controversial send-off. Earlier in the day, India’s lower middle-order and tail fell apart, as they lost four wickets in 34 balls, lasting only 28 minutes with the bat on Day 2. India have a mountain to climb from here if they are to win the Test and level the series. (LIVE SCORECARD)
